Project Overview:
Hallco Industries, Inc. manufactures Live Floors, which are bulk materials conveyor systems for trucks, trailers and stationary bins. They operate on hydraulics through a system of alternating lateral movement of aluminum deck slats to load and unload bulk cargo. When we started working with Hallco, we were faced with a 30-year-old company who had last updated their branding and marketing materials some time before, their public image didn’t reflect the quality and innovative products they proudly manufacture in Tillamook, Oregon. Additionally, they didn’t have quality, current product photography or video, and due to the nature of the Hallco product, we needed a solution to product imagery.

Solution:
We started by designing a new logo for Hallco that represents their product visually with the graphic illustration to the left of the company name. We developed a complete design standard showing graphic layouts for their web site, advertisements and collateral materials. As part of this process, we carefully selected a color palette based upon a vivid green that helps to differentiate the company in their market. We did some analysis of colors used by all companies within the primary industries they serve, and green was open territory, so we staked our name on the color, and it is perhaps the most recognizable element in their branding.
