You might be thinking “branding” is a fancy term for “logo.” Ya know, that thing that sits idly by in the top left corner of website, or dead center of a business card. Though you can think that all you want, it won’t make you any less wrong. Sorry, but the truth hurts.
A brand is more than a mere visual representation of your company’s name. It’s actually the personality, the identity, and the heart and soul of your product, company or service. Though logo designs, tagline development, colors and shapes are used to visually illustrate your company’s brand, it’s not the whole shebang. (But in all honesty, it doesn’t hurt if your logo happens to be cute, too.)
